Lisa Canning was co-host in season one, Samantha Harris co-hosted seasons 2 through 9 and Brooke Burke-Charvet in seasons 10 through seventeen. The show has been revived for a nineteenth season!!!

The contestant pairs include a star paired with an expert dancer. Past celebrity contestants have enclosed skilled and Olympic athletes, supermodels, actors, singers, astronauts, teen-heartthrobs, and YouTube sensations. every couple performs preset dances and competes against the others for judges' points and audience votes. The couple receiving all-time low combined total of judges' points and audience votes is eliminated every week till solely the champion dance combine remains.***

In 2012, GSN picked up rerun rights to seasons four to 13, however owing to low ratings the network stopped airing the show once airing for 3 months from January 2012 to April 2012 in 2 completely different seasons ventilated totally on weekends.////

Alfonso Ribeiro force his groin last week from doing The Carlton too onerous on "Dancing With the celebrities," that is not funny, but it's ... slightly funny. However, that doesn't stop him from going it all out on the ground on for his condiment with Witney Carson. it had been additional of a hip hop/salsa hybrid, that truly worked very well with the music. and also the content was insane -- the degree of problem was terribly high for Alfonso and Witney on.....

The judges were singing Alfonso's praises, tho' Julianne Hough cautions to not be too hip-hoppy and leave the condiment content go in the cold. however Bruno Tonioli gushes, "The rhythm's got me! Infectious, vibrant, vitality, fulgurant."////
